Palazzuolo is one of the towns in “Alto Mugello” Territory and and was born in an area connected with the “via Faentina”, an ancient thoroughfare of communication . Palazzuolo, like the other towns in Mugello Territory, contains many historical and artistic buildings, such as the “Palazzo dei Capitani”, the Sanctuary of “Madonna della Neve”, or “Prepositura di Santo Stefano”, who keeps inside a blade showing Madonna and Child and other saints, dating from the sixteenth century.
